AIFRIC PRIOR BELIERE
For this exhibition, a 30 minute soundscape using field recordings from Dublin and
personal archives will explore relation to space through sound.
Aifric Prior Beliere makes work based on relationships between and beyond humans.
Her practice seeks to explore the overlap of subjective and common experiences of
narrative and intra-action. A project-based approach considers how this manifests
in contemporary environments.
Prior Beliere utilises poetic tendencies and aesthetics of storytelling to consider
empathy and agency within world-making relationships. This practice is
multi-disciplinary with materials chosen when relevant to a project, exhibition or
environment. These include sound, sculpture, film, text and image-making.
Prior Beliere employs research and collaboration with materials, humans, places and
histories.
